Awards and Honours

Learning is not closed within the four walls of the class. It is also about the future of an understanding of the world around one and therefore several unique programmes are regularly held.

The Director of the school Mr. Sudhir Tiwari has been given ‘Rashtriya Vikas Ratna -2003 award by the former Union Minister Late Saheb Singh Verma at a function in New Delhi on 9th December’2003. as many as 50 persons were selected for the award by the International Growth Society for their contribution in the field of education, medicine, science, agriculture, economic development of the country. Mr. Tiwari was the lone awardee from Jharkhand.

The Director and Principal Tender Heart Senior Secondary School, Mr.Sudhir Tiwari and Mrs. Gargi Manju have been awarded ‘Gem of India’ award 2003 and ‘Outstanding National Citizen award 2003 respectively. It was organized by All India Achiever’s Conference, New Delhi on 29th January. At national level around 15 people were selected for the award among whom Mrs. Manju is one to receive this honour from Jharkhand. The award is mostly conferred on those who have made substantial contribution in the field of education for the last 25 years.

Mrs. Manju Gargi has also received the President’s award by the ‘Rotary Club’ of Ranchi for the development of education in the city.

The students of our school have created many milestones, not only at the state level but also at the national level.

Preeti Kumari’ has achieved the “champion of Champions” Trophy for yoga and “Yoga Samragyi” title. She has also received innumerable prizes both at National and State Level.

Reliance Web World’s video conferencing competition was organized on 19th January’2005 in which ‘Rosy Kumari’ of class VIII’B, stood first in the semifinal round. There were more than 5200 participants from various schools of Ranchi.

‘Shruti Priya’ and ‘Sumit Sidhartha’ of our school got the first prize in YMCA interschool drawing competition and third prize in the competition organized by Creative International and National Green Craft.

Our students have also excelled in the various exams of Sai Maths Olympiad, Cyber Olympiad and Science Olympiad.

The CBSE had upgraded Tender Heart Senior Secondary School, Ranchi upto +2, from the session 2006-07. The class XI was inaugurated by our four ex-students of the school. One of them ‘Amresh Kumar’ is an IIT student, presently seeking his education in France. ‘Spriha’ and ‘Kritika Ranjan’ who also inaugurated the class XI are at present studying Computer Engineering from BIT Mesra and fashion technology at NIFFT, Hyderabad respectively.
